Breeders Cup Classic...

...Was breathtaking! Zenyatta danced in the post parade like she always does. Then Quality Road had a meltdown and was the first horse to scratch from the gate in Breeders Cup history. Then they reloaded the horses. While the camera was on her she was more than comfortable and was ready to go. A second later the gates flew open and Zenyatta started on the wrong lead... About half way through she looked like she was gona give up but then she found that reserve of energy. She then easily passed every horse in the field and crossed the finish line.




She is the horse of the year. Rachel Alexandra was not there this weekend. So there is no doubt that the Queen of both the fillys and now the colts, should not be horse of the year.

So I'm Brittany... I am 16 years old and from Baltimore, Maryland. :]

Animals of all sorts have been a large part of my life. Since i was 5 I wanted to become a vet and that dream is still there. I also have a large issue with people that don't respect animals or treat them right. so after I get my veterinarian degree I'm planing to open an equine rescue.

I consider a horse named Tonto to be my hero and bests friend. He has saved me from from myself many times and i really have him to thank for keeping me here.

Music is another major part of my life. There are certain songs that help me show thought my day and other to explain what I can not. The band Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite. Their songs seem to speak for me the best. I live by their song "Seize The Day" and I believe it more than anything...

So that's me in a nutshell. Anyway... I'm a friendly person so if you are new to DA, want some advice or just want to talk about anything that its cool with me. :]
